The beginning...
This is the movie Coco. I remembered going to the cinema to watch it myself. When reaching till the end of the movie, where how the everything connects and Miguel found out Hector is his great-great-grandfather, and Coco, his great-grandmother connects everything up, I'm really moved by that part. The mystery behind the song remember me was also revealed.
Both the movie and the song lead a lasting impression to me, and by that time it pushed me to learn Spanish.
Reencounter again
Yes it's the New Year Gala again, and since the topic of this year is multiculture connection, the opening event is a song mashup with many different languages...
Being one of the students from our Spanish class, I'm joining this song mashup also.
And guess what, the song we selected is remember me.
This is the video shot by our teacher during our first try of singing together.
Accidents happen...
As a event that was definitely "in the show", we didn't worry much before the overall rehersal.
However, during the overall rehersal, we were informed that our pitch does not match our background music, which needs adjustments. And we need to fix our positions.
The hardest part is to adjust the pitch for our background music.
These are rehersal photos
Taking Action
We connected our music teacher.
That's my first time speaking to him!
He tried to adjust our pitch, and we first practiced with the new song.
Then after our practice finished, we found the supervisor of the show and sing the song again.
Finally our song passed and our background music was accepted.
And we are really going to be up that show!
Final Performance
And this is it !
This is our final performance, and it looks cool. We managed to stay on the pitch and finish it smoothly.
